Spay/Neuter: There should be no discussion here, have your pet spayed or neutered. Having these procedures done can prevent issues such as mammary and testicular tumors and uterine infections. And far too many unwanted pets due to overpopulation.

Dental Care: Dental hygiene is as important to your pet as it is to you. Poor teeth can lead to a variety of health issues. Infected teeth can cause infection to spread throughout the body, even to the brain!

Senior Pets: As animals age, their dietary requirements and their ability to digest certain foods will. Focus on decent diets and visits to the vet. Avoid red meat diets as they out more pressure on the body to process. Stick with protein rich meals such as chicken and rice.  Touch base with your vet’s office to determine what you can be doing to add to the care of your pet. Think about quality of life – we all deserve to have an advocate. Discuss the above items with the vet and see where your pet’s wellness meter lands.
